Today we begin a four-part series “On the road with Jesus” as we dwell in Luke 24:13-35 and the story of the disciples on the road to Emmaus who are met by Jesus. Today we focus on Jesus with us on life’s road when there are barriers which bring grief and lament, despair and sorrow. Jesus is surely with us and hears us. He teaches us to minister to others as we learn to listen to him, and also to listen to them. It is in listening first that Jesus is revealed. [Easter 5]
