Today we join Jesus and the multitude who gather to hear him teach on the mount. Jesus says to you and me. “you are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hid.” We dig deeper to explore what Jesus means to call us light and a city on a hill which shines the way for travelers to come to a place of mercy, of love, of forgiveness, of blessing. And we will be asked how are we called to shine for others and what is key for us to do this. [Epiphany 5]
