Christmas is a special time of the year. I have always loved Christmas and its message of God, the Word making his dwelling among us. But Ive also been pondering what this means for everyday of my life. I remember, as a child, then as a parent and now as a grandparent the excitement of waking up on Christmas Day. The joy and the excitement! But what about on other days? What about on the hard days of life? What about when Christmas is hard? What does this promise of God mean for us on these days?
