In today’s Gospel reading, Jesus redefines honour at the table: humility, not status, reveals God’s grace. True blessing comes when we welcome those who cannot repay. The kingdom is a banquet of reversal and inclusion, where all belong. As the church, we are challenged to embody this feast through radical hospitality. [Pentecost 12]
