Living in the Happiness of God's Blessing

Are Christians known as happy, contented people of peace; or gloomy,  judgemental, cheese-and-crackers people?   Jesus came that we might have great joy, declaring we are indeed blessed, even in grief and persecution.  [Epiphany 5]
