Jesus tells a parable, a story about a fig tree which does not bear fruit. The owner of the land loses patience with the tree and wants it cut down. But his gardener asks to give it one more year. The gardener will care for it and fertilise it. But if it does not bear fruit, then it can be cut down. God calls us to bear spiritual, gospel fruit, the fruit which comes from turning in repentance to him. Today we explore what it means to repent and what good fruit we can expect to bear. [Lent 3]
